Claude Hooton: Strategies to Consider When Migrating to the Cloud

Mr. Hooton, a seasoned business executive, joined the company in February 2014. During his tenure, the company has more than quadrupled its revenues and now covers over 550 sites with its award-winning StatRad® teleradiology service. Under his leadership, the company built and launched the Nucleus.io technology platform that was sold to Change Healthcare in 2020. Prior to its divestiture, the Nucleus.io software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution grew from being a concept to having over 7,500 organizations using it.

With over twenty-five years of strategic, operational, and corporate management experience within high-growth healthcare tech companies, Claude leads the commercial side of the business including finance & administration, sales & marketing, and client operation. Prior to joining the team, Claude managed the U.S. Sales Operations for Qualcomm Life, the healthcare division for Qualcomm Corporation. He also served as President of PMB Real Estate Services division of Ventas REIT and as EVP / Board Member of Baxa Corporation, a global medical device company later acquired by Baxter International. He’s also held roles as Pyxis, Dura Pharmaceuticals, and Eli Lily. Claude holds a BS in Finance from San Diego State University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
