Position Overview
The Business Systems & Compliance Analyst supports the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS), operational compliance initiatives, and regulatory processes in accordance with ISO 13485, ISO 27001, FDA requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.
This role combines quality and regulatory support responsibilities with operational systems coordination and process improvement activities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain compliant, scalable, and efficient workflows across the organization while supporting ongoing quality and operational initiatives.
This position is ideal for a motivated and technically inclined professional looking to grow their experience in healthcare technology, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and operational process improvement within a growing teleradiology organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and related operational processes.
- Assist with document control, training records, CAPA activities, complaint handling, and audit readiness activities.
- Maintain records and documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Assist with development and maintenance of policies, procedures, work instructions, and operational documentation.
- Conduct regulatory and standards research and remain informed on changes affecting healthcare technology operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement operational and quality improvements.
- Support risk management and continuous improvement initiatives related to software operations and operational workflows.
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of compliant workflows within operational systems and platforms.
- Coordinate with technical and operational teams to support process improvements and workflow enhancements.
- Maintain Learning Management System records and training assignments.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Skills
- • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Technical aptitude and comfort working with operational systems and workflow tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe preferred..
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in healthcare technology, quality systems, compliance, IT operations, or related fields preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FDA regulations, or other regulated environments preferred.
Work Location and Conditions
- Corporate office in San Diego. Optional Hybrid Model, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with manager approval.
- Job Type: Full-time; Non-Exempt.
- Some overtime may be required around certain deadlines.

- Internal Regulatory and Quality System training required for G&A
Hourly Pay Range
- StatRad has implemented a pay scale to reward employees fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of employees’ career progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. It reflects the range that StatRad reasonably expects to pay for this position at various levels of experience. The actual pay rate for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s relevant experience, unique skills and abilities, education, market demand, and employer business practices, and will be discussed at the offer stage with the selected candidate.
- Starting Hourly Pay Range: $28.85 – $34.62 per hour
